Covid-19 Policy
The Covid-19 outbreak has forced us all to adapt to a new way of working and living, with the whole country encouraged to adhere to social distancing measures and only asked to leave our homes to complete essential activities.
With infection rates on the decline and lockdown measures beginning to be eased, the nation is gradually returning to normal. But that doesn’t mean that everything will simply revert back to how it was before this challenging public health crisis. At Hotaki Cosmetic Dermatology, we’re deeply committed to the safety and wellbeing of both our patients and our staff. With this in mind, the re-opening of our clinic will be done in strict accordance with infection prevention control measures and all available Government advice.
As a frontline GP with experience in working in clinics across the country, our founder Dr Nur Hotaki possesses an unparalleled awareness of the best practices of infection control and has instilled this comprehensive working knowledge into every member of our hard-working staff team. And, although the world may currently seem a scary and unusual place, you can rest assured that when attending an appointment at Hotaki Cosmetic Dermatology that every conceivable step will be taken to ensure of your health and wellbeing as this pandemic subsides.
Hygiene : Although Hotaki Cosmetic Dermatology has always operated under the highest of hygiene standards, we will be going the extra mile to make sure that we reduce the risk of spreading infection to all those who visit us. In order to do this, we will be subjecting our clinic to intensive daily cleaning and taking a particular focus on areas of our clinic that may be more likely to harbour germs such as door handles, work surfaces and seats. Each appointment will be carried out with clean and sterile equipment and our practitioners will be dressed in the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Sterile and disposable clinic consumables will always be used where possible.
Social Distancing: To make your visit to our clinic as safe as possible, we’ll also be following strict social distancing measures. After booking an appointment with us online or via email or text, you will only come into contact with the practitioner carrying out your procedure. On arrival, you will not need to speak to our receptionist in person and won’t be required to sit in the waiting area with other patients but will instead be directed straight to your treatment room.
Prioritising Health: As lockdown begins to ease, we’re keenly aware that Covid-19 has not disappeared completely. With this in mind, we’ll be taking a strict approach to both staff members and patients displaying any symptoms of this illness. In terms of our staff members, we will be asking those who are symptomatic to remain at home for the appropriate amount of time. If you have any symptoms and are no longer able to attend an appointment, please let us know via email or text so that we can reschedule your visit. As the health of our staff and patients is a priority, we reserve the right to refuse treatment if you attend our clinic whilst you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19. This is in keeping with our constant duty of care to all parties.
By following these strict measures, we hope that we can provide first-class treatments in a safe and controlled manner during this strange and challenging time. At Hotaki Cosmetic Dermatology, we pride ourselves on tailoring our services to meet the needs of all of our patients and staff and we’ll be making every effort to ensure this continues over the coming months.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any queries, and we hope to see you at the clinic soon.
